Named and famed for their fragrant aroma, Ceyfields rice is indigenous to Sri Lanka and considered auspicious by islanders, many of whom prepare it as offerings to the Gods on festive occasions and other religious ceremonies.
Sri Lanka is a tropical haven abounding with some of the most exotic fruits known to the world. Mangoes and pineapples are the more popular items sought after worldwide but market demand is on the rise for other seasonal fruit endemic to Sri Lanka as well. The island’s fertile soil and tropical climate play a pivotal role in the mouth watering flavour associated with fruit grown in the country.
