Named and famed for their fragrant aroma, Ceyfields rice is indigenous to Sri Lanka and considered auspicious by islanders, many of whom prepare it as offerings to the Gods on festive occasions and other religious ceremonies. Apart from its rich flavour, our rice is also fortified with minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and has a generally lower Glycaemic Index (GI) than many other varieties of white rice.
At Ceyfields, we go to great lengths to nurture every variety of rice grown on our fields and cultivate it to international standards with utmost precision and care.
